Orion Health ZA seeks to close the gap that exist in Mental Health and Substance Abuse Rehabilitation Services through Education and Training, Onsite and Outpatient Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation Services. South Africa is one of the countries with highest prevalence of Alcohol and Drug Abuse, Gender Based Violence, Mental Health Disorders and Suicide rate. There is a vast disparity in accessibility to quality healthcare services. This disparity hinders the marginalized individuals and families from accessing these services. High unemployment and poverty rates also contribute to the above social ills and mental health disorders. Through establishment of accessible, cost effective Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation Facility that provides integrated services for alcohol/drug and mental health services, we will be able to reintegrate these often forgotten individuals back to the community and work environment where they will be contributing meaningfully to the economy, thus mitigating the impact of unemployment and its resultant poverty and vise versa .
